Day 05 : Bijaipur
Morning tour of this garden city, including the Gol Gumbaz and the beautiful tomb of Ibrahim Roza.

Day 06 : Bijaipur - Badami (135 Kms)
Morning drive to Badami and stay two nights at the Badami Court Hotel. Afternoon visit to the hilltop temples with rock-cut shrines and the cave temples , dating back to the reign of the Chalukyan monach Mangalesa, ( 598- 610 AD)

Day 07 : Aihole and Pattadakal
Visit Aihole, whose stunning early temples date back to the Chalukyan period and are simple but beautifully decorated. After lunch visit the more complex , later temples at Pattadakal, where the architecture draws on various styles from north and south India. One of the most impressive temples here is the Lokeshwari or Virupaksha temple.

Day 08 : Badami - Hospet (214 kms)
Morning drive through the heart of the Deccan plateau to Hospet, on the edge of the Tungabhadra Reservoir . Stay two nights at the Malligi Tourist Home.

Day 09 : Hampi
Visit the exceptional ruins of the Vijayanagar empire at Hampi, once the capital if one of the largest Hindu empires in Indian history . The ruins are set in strange hill country strewn with enormous , round boulders and are fairly spread out, making for an enjoyable walk.

Day 10 : Hampi - Hassan
Morning drive to Hassan and stay two nights at the Hassan Ashok Hotel.
