Udaipur is possibly the most romantic city in Rajasthan. There would be no doubt as to why it is called "The Venice of East".Tour starts with a visit to the massive City Palace complex, the largest palace complex in Rajasthan. The main part of the palace is a museum with its collection of mosaic, miniatures etc. depicting the Rajput way of life proceed on to Jagdish temple located close to the City Palace, marvel at its imposing sculpted figures and heavily ornamented interiors. Drive on to the pratap Smarak, see the bronze statue of Rajput hero Maharana Pratap surrounded by some lovely landscaped gardens including a Japanese Rock Gardens. Next stop of your tour is Bhartiya Lok Kala Museum with its extensive collection of Rajasthani folk arts and crafts. The focal point of the museum is its collection of puppets. The last stop of your tour is the Sahelion ki Bari or Garden of the Maids of honour, marvel at its marble fountains and elephants. Round off your tour with a drive through the bustling bazaars.
